What is a Modern Family Portrait?

Each year, we come to your home with a TV-quality film crew, interview you and other family members on camera, and capture memories from your daily lives. Within months, you receive a 10- to 30-minute family film, including photos and music. Hair and make-up services are included upon request.

How many years does a Modern Family Portrait continue?

This is up to you! Whatever you decide, this annual family film is a unique and everlasting gift, recording treasured family moments and showing children as they grow up

How much of my time does this take?

We’re flexible. Typically, we spend two or three days filming. We don’t interrupt your routine—we capture family life as it really is—and we catch you for a sit-down interview at your convenience.

How many people will be interviewed?

That’s your choice. Typically, we interview parents and children.

How many locations?

You choose where you want us to shoot—your home, a local park, dance class, or any other place you and your family frequent.

How and when will I receive my completed Modern Family Portrait?

Your final video arrives via digital link within three months of the shoot.

Am I guaranteed confidentiality?

Yes, we work with many private people, with utmost discretion. We will, if you wish, sign a confidentiality agreement.

How much will my video cost?
